Spikehorn Ridge Wade Trips

My definition of wade fishing is any type of angling done without the use of a boat. We will bring you to Vermont’s rivers, lakes, streams, or ponds that hold our target species of fish. Or more correctly stated, we will bring you to a spot that has the fish that you want to catch and we will help you to land them. During the spring spawning seasons of many fish, we won’t have to walk very far at all. Often it will be from the vehicle to an inlet, outlet or hole in a section of water that holds spawning fish. During other times of the year we may choose to walk a section of river or stream to fish multiple holes, runs, and riffles.
