Jet Boat Trips (May - October)

The Spikehorn Ridge jet boat is a sixteen-foot johnboat with a 40 horsepower jet motor. This setup is a mimic of boats that I have used to fish for trout and salmon in some of Alaska’s smaller rivers. This boat allows us to fish large amounts of productive water with less physical exertion than wading or canoeing. It also allows us to fish water that is otherwise inaccessible due to posted shorelines, lack of water depth where conventional outboards would fail, and too great a distance to hike in and fish.

Fish in waters that aren’t navigable with normal outboards.
